Teriyaki Chicken Stir-Fry

Ingredients:

500 grams of neatly sliced, boneless chicken breast
Vegetable oil, 1 tablespoon
1 finely sliced onion
1 finely sliced bell pepper
1 julienned carrot
2 minced garlic cloves
2/fourths cup soy sauce
Mirin, two tablespoons
2 teaspoons of sake
Brown sugar, 2 tablespoons

1 spoonful of cornstarch and 2 teaspoons of water are mixed together.

Sesame seeds for decoration
served with cooked rice

Instructions:

Heat the vegetable oil and switch the Instant Pot Pressure Cooker to the sauté setting. Add the chicken slices and heat until evenly browned.
Add the onion, bell pepper, carrot, and minced garlic to the Instant Pot once the chicken has been browned. Vegetables should be sautéed for a few minutes until they begin to soften.

Combine the soy sauce, mirin, sake, and brown sugar in a small bowl. Pour the sauce mixture into the Instant Pot, coating the chicken and veggies with it after giving it a good swirl.
Put the Instant Pot’s lid on and choose the 5-minute high-pressure cooking setting. After allowing for a five-minute natural release, manually relieve any pressure that remains.
Pre-heat the Hamilton Beach Electric Indoor Searing Grill in accordance with the recommendations of the manufacturer while the pressure is released.
Reset the Instant Pot to sauté mode after opening it. Cook the sauce while whisking in the dissolved cornstarch mixture until it thickens.

Transfer the stir-fried teriyaki chicken from the Instant Pot to the Hamilton Beach Electric Indoor Searing Grill that has been heated. Grill the chicken and vegetables for a few minutes, until they have a lovely sear and caramelization. Add sesame seeds as a garnish after removing from the grill. Overcooked rice, plate the teriyaki chicken stir-fry.
